ਪੰਜਾਬ 22 ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਹੈੱਡਕੁਆਰਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵੈਚਾਲਿਤ ਡਰਾਇਵਿੰਗ ਟੈਸਟ ਟਰੈਕਸ ਅਤੇ 10
ਸਬ-ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸੂਬਾ
ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੇਂਦਰਾਂ 'ਤੇ 44.33 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਖਰਚ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ
ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾਇਵਿੰਗ ਲਾਇਸੰਸ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਦਫ਼ਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ
ਚੱਕਰ ਨਾ ਕੱਟਣੇ ਪੈਣ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਪਵੇ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ
ਕੇਂਦਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਰਾਇਵਿੰਗ ਟੈਸਟ ਪਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਡਰਾਇਵਿੰਗ ਲਾਇਸੰਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ
ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
Punjab becomes the first state in India to have
AutomatedDrivingTestTracks
at 22 district headquarters and 10 sub divisions with medical
facilities at each center. Punjab government has incurred the cost of
Rs. 44.33 crore on these centers so that people need not make daily
rounds of various offices for getting their DrivingLicence made; thereby falling prey to corrupt persons! Driving Licence would be
issued right here at these centers after a person clears the test.
