ਭਾਈ ਜੈਤਾ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਲਾਸਾਨੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਜਦਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਾਈ ਜੈਤਾ ਜੀ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਭਾਈ ਜੈਤਾ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਨੌਵੇਂ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਸੀਸ ਚਾਂਦਨੀ ਚੌਕ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ 'ਤੇ 25 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਆਏਗੀ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਪੰਥ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਾਈ ਜੈਤਾ ਜੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਾਮੱਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਰਤੀਮਾਨ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਭਰ 'ਚ ਕਿਧਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦੀ। 

Paying homage to Bhai Jaita ji for his unprecedented sacrifice, CM Parkash Singh Badal today laid the foundation stone of Shaheed Bhai Jaita ji Memorial at Sri Anandpur Sahib. This memorial would come up at a cost of Rs 25 crore to pay befitting tribute to the legendary Sikh martyr who had rendered marvelous service to the panth by bringing back the seesh of Guru Teg Bahadur ji from Chandni chowk (Delhi) to Sri Anandpur Sahib. Mr. Badal said that this memorial would ever remind our younger generations about exemplary courage exhibited by this iconic Sikh warrior which hardly find any parallel in the entire Sikh history.

Punjab Chief Minister interacted with people during Sangat Darshan program in Garhshankar assembly segment today in which he talked about the massive development of state . He said that despite being a border state, Punjab was today one of the most peaceful state in the country. To commemorate the sacrifices of Sikhs in the tragic war of May 17, 1746, a memorial has been built at the Chhota Ghallughara site at Kahnuwan in Gurdaspur district at an outlay of Rs. 18 crores.

ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਜਰਨੈਲ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ 18ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ 'ਚ ਚੱਪੜ ਚਿੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਹੰਦ ਵਜ਼ੀਰ ਖਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਕੇ 700 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਮੁਗਲ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਹ ਰੱਖੀ ਸੀ। ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਗਲੀਆਂ ਪੀੜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਾਨ ਜੇਤੂ ਜਰਨੈਲ ਦੀ ਲਾਸਾਨੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਚੱਪੜ ਚਿੜੀ 'ਚ 20 ਏਕੜ ਰਕਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ 46 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਾਰਕ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ 'ਚ 328 ਫੁੱਟ ਉਚਾ ਤਿੰਨ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲਾ 'ਫਤਿਹ ਬੁਰਜ' ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉਚਾ ਮੀਨਾਰ ਹੈ। ਰਿਕਾਰਡ 11 ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ 'ਚ ਤਿਆਰ ਇਸ ਬੁਰਜ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ 67 ਫੁੱਟ ਉਚੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਸਮਾਣੇ ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੀ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਹੈ, ਦੂਜੀ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ਸਢੌਰਾ ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਉਚਾਈ 117 ਫੁੱਟ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਜੀ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ 220 ਫੁੱਟ ਉਚੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਕਿ ਸਰਹੰਦ ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੀ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਮੀਨਾਰ ਬੇਇਨਸਾਫ਼ੀ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਬੁਲੰਦ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਵਿਖੇ 200 ਕਰੋੜ ਰਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ 25 ਏਕੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਾਰੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ "ਜੰਗ-ਏ-ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ" ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਾਏ ਗਏ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ 22 ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਹੈੱਡਕੁਆਰਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵੈਚਾਲਿਤ ਡਰਾਇਵਿੰਗ ਟੈਸਟ ਟਰੈਕਸ ਅਤੇ 10 ਸਬ-ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸੂਬਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੇਂਦਰਾਂ 'ਤੇ 44.33 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਖਰਚ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾਇਵਿੰਗ ਲਾਇਸੰਸ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਦਫ਼ਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਚੱਕਰ ਨਾ ਕੱਟਣੇ ਪੈਣ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਪਵੇ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੇਂਦਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਰਾਇਵਿੰਗ ਟੈਸਟ ਪਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਡਰਾਇਵਿੰਗ ਲਾਇਸੰਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

Punjab becomes the first state in India to have 

AutomatedDrivingTestTracks‬‬ at 22 district headquarters and 10 sub divisions with medical facilities at each center. Punjab government has incurred the cost of Rs. 44.33 crore on these centers so that people need not make daily rounds of various offices for getting their ‎DrivingLicence‬ made; thereby falling prey to corrupt persons! Driving Licence would be issued right here at these centers after a person clears the test.
